Export Craft Beer and Cider

The British craft beer and cider scene is incredibly vibrant with sales rising year on year, both in the UK and globally. In 2017 one billion pints were shipped across the globe with craft beer exports worth around £600 million per year.
Exporting offers huge benefits to companies from increased growth and productivity, to being more resilient to economic downturns. To begin exporting there are several steps which need to be taken and this free morning workshop will guide you through creating an export strategy.
The Department for International Trade in the East of England has joined with Eleanor Bannister from Indigo Partnerships to cover:
- Assessing how export ready your company is by looking at the 4P’s – Product, Packaging, Pricing and Promotion
- Discussing the practicalities of exporting – Logistical readiness, under-bond warehousing, incoterms and due diligence
- Identifying what the next steps are
